UKIP Sell Personalised Number Plates

In November 1998 the European Council passed legislation allowing motorists to display the Euro Symbol on their number plates in place of the oval national identifier sticker for travel within the EU. The Euro Number Plates are not compulsory, however a large percentage of new number plates contain the EU marker as standard. In an unusual move the UK Independence Party has formally registered as a supplier of number plates and now sells personalised number plates with the Union, English, Scottish and Welsh flags.
